Christmas cookies fresh out of a pan

The aunts and the cousins all around the table
\nEveryone helps who is able
\nThey bring extra pans and staples too
\nIt\u2019s overwhelming, so much to do<\/p>\n
Candy canes, thumbprints and and gingerbread men
\nOf any, of each I could eat ten
\nCooperation between families only once per year
\nThe magic of the season will end soon I fear<\/p>\n
Decorating and dusting in such a rush
\nThe little ones are sleeping, we must hush
\nThe best conversations we have all year
