Oh, how I have missed our mother daughter conversation<\/span><\/p>\n

Those nightly recaps of your day<\/span><\/p>\n

about the comings and goings of the grandkids<\/span><\/p>\n

Their activities \u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve missed walking with you, giving motherly guidance\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A new recipe, the best way to remove\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

that stubborn stain\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

because you are never too old to learn a new trick<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Even though my words went unspoken<\/span><\/p>\n

In those last quiet years, my voice stolen<\/span><\/p>\n

I was always talking to you<\/span><\/p>\n

I was always listening<\/span><\/p>\n

And now that I am gone<\/span><\/p>\n

I am still listening<\/span><\/p>\n

I am still here<\/span><\/p>\n

I am in the cool mist, drifting off the lake<\/span><\/p>\n

I am in the trees that bend into canopy\u00a0 of shade<\/span><\/p>\n

I am daffodils that bow in the sun<\/span><\/p>\n

A rainbow after rain<\/span><\/p>\n

I am your shelter and your fire<\/span><\/p>\n

I am everywhere and always with you<\/span><\/p>\n
