They have been around forever.<br \/>\nNote that they serve a very important purpose.<br \/>\nCreating a menu for those in the food chain above them.<br \/>\nInteresting fact;  the Mayfly is amazing!<br \/>\nBefore man, long before the dinosaurs<br \/>\nlegions and legions of these winged short lived beauties<br \/>\nexisted. Long ago, even before time.<\/p>\n<p>And they have no time to eat<br \/>\nno time to talk, they have no mouth parts&#8211;<br \/>\ndon&#8217;t speak. There is no time to sleep,<\/p>\n<p>All they want to do, all they need to do&#8230;<br \/>\nneed to do is reproduce and fill the seat.<br \/>\nCenturies and centuries they&#8217;ve been here<br \/>\nin perpetuity. Helping the farmers and the fishermen<br \/>\nearn a buck. If you come in contact with one they will<br \/>\nnot harm you.
