The thing<br \/>\ndoesn\u2019t even have<br \/>\na delete key.<br \/>\nDeletions have to be<br \/>\ntediously erased with the backspace key.<br \/>\nEven the bloody dog knows<br \/>\nthat the backspace key<br \/>\ncan function as a delete key, <\/p>\n<p>but he is pissed off,<br \/>\nand I don\u2019t blame him,<br \/>\nbecause I have not<br \/>\nwalked him nearly enough today.<br \/>\nHe is of no help.<br \/>\nThe same is true of my intellect,<br \/>\nstraining to find words<br \/>\nand form them at this hour.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I wrote all of these poems without wifi, without the internet, with nothing but a single bar of data on an outdated mobile phone and a folding keyboard that wants to do nothing more than capitalize letters at the start of lines.
