I was right to do so<\/p>\n

maybe not right in my words<\/p>\n
my thoughts or my deeds<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
maybe torn up, shredded<\/p>\n
on expectations and disappointment<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
maybe savage and ferocious<\/p>\n
lashing out in my pain<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
but I know something now that I didn\u2019t know then<\/p>\n
I needed every wrong turn, every misguided step<\/p>\n
to find the places where my joy was real<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
and when I was finally there, in a place where I was happy<\/p>\n
I knew I was always going to make the next right move<\/p>\n
even when everything else around me was wrong<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
because that\u2019s all I\u2019d ever done<\/p>\n
just like every time I\u2019ve ever left<\/p>\n
