You may rather not read if the original is of religious significance to you. I apologise if this causes any offence, it is not the intention.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In wreaths of flame I watched you fall<br \/>\nFeathers charred around your frame<br \/>\nAn apple core in outstretched hand<br \/>\nA plummeting beneath the land<\/p>\n<p>And then, below, the briars grew<br \/>\nThorny webs from shadows flew<br \/>\nAnd in their shelter, creeping things<br \/>\nLearned and lived and worshipped you<\/p>\n<p>With berries sweet you fed the small<br \/>\nThe unloved and unheliacal<br \/>\nThe vicious, ugly and unheard<br \/>\nYou raised the unloved of the world.<\/p>\n<p>And in wisdom undiscerning<br \/>\nYou sowed saplings after burning<br \/>\nForest fires.
