{"id":117034,"date":"2022-06-25T21:53:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-26T01:53:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/?p=117034"},"modified":"2022-06-25T21:54:04","modified_gmt":"2022-06-26T01:54:04","slug":"13-antisocial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2022\/06\/13-antisocial\/","title":{"rendered":"#13- Antisocial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Shyness is not something unfamiliar to me<\/p>\n<p>It isn\u2019t easy talking to people new<\/p>\n<p>And if you knew me, you\u2019d see<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But fear unceasingly grew<\/p>\n<p>And being antisocial was second nature<\/p>\n<p>Hence, the people I knew were few<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>People said \u2018Don\u2019t be immature<\/p>\n<p>\u2018You must make friends, learn to speak up\u2019<\/p>\n<p>All this brought was displeasure<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So I told myself, \u2018It\u2019s time to lift my chin up\u2019<\/p>\n<p>And I made some friends, had some fun<\/p>\n<p>Life seems a little sweeter, things were looking up<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><em>Tried writing in Terza Rima, so the rhyme scheme is aba bcb cdc ded.
