\nI rarely feel sunny.
\nI’m more a mauve half dried
\nHalf rotting petal
\nOn the rose kind of girl.
\nOr blue dripping into black
\nDragging me along
\nWithout any marks of resistance.<\/p>\n
But don’t you ever just want to feel it?
\nSunny?
\nI do.
\nI blast across my nails hoping it can hitch a ride
\nUp my veins, arteries
\nPump to the heart and get pushed
\nEverywhere.<\/p>\n
Probably looks odd
\nYellow nails screaming
\nBut dead eyes
\nSplotchy gaze
\nUnfocused pupils.<\/p>\n
The lips try their part
\nRoyal purple mats
\nRed slippery glosses
\nBut alas.
\nNails, lips, fuzzy shoes
\nAll the things screaming FUN!<\/p>\n
Nothing can cover over glazed eyes.
\nExcitement from within.
\nShe wants a hit
\nFor now she costumes up
\nTrying to take it til she makes it.
