Nothing is coming to me now<\/p>\n

Those words that were zipping above my head<\/p>\n

have all been used now.<\/p>\n

I am struggling to find new ones<\/p>\n

Not even Perry Mason could help me now.<\/p>\n

I sense the brain needs caffeine,<\/p>\n

or a nap,<\/p>\n

protein maybe<\/p>\n

Those are words I can use<\/p>\n

And have though, often today.<\/p>\n

This is the point<\/p>\n

bordering on tediousness and exhaustion.<\/p>\n

Here word soup and word salad are matched<\/p>\n

with a word and mayonnaise sandwich.<\/p>\n

Genius won’t happen in this place<\/p>\n

The ideas are trapped<\/p>\n

In a hollow cavern<\/p>\n

Just a few knocking around.<\/p>\n

I imagine they are lonely.<\/p>\n

Contrite.<\/p>\n

They don’t want exposure.<\/p>\n

Words, where are you?<\/p>\n

I need your loveliness.<\/p>\n

I need you to make gallant sentence structures.<\/p>\n

I need you to come and play.<\/p>\n

Words where have you gone?<\/p>\n
