i have barely written about anything else for years.<\/p>\n
you’d think, i’d run out of things to say, about the very act of eating<\/p>\n
it is necessary for my life<\/p>\n
but still – so toxic<\/p>\n
i say that weight is a see-saw,<\/p>\n
i’m always on the down end,<\/p>\n
or weight is an anvil,<\/p>\n
and i’m crushed underneath it.<\/p>\n
that fat isn’t a feeling,<\/p>\n
it’s three letters, but<\/p>\n
god, is it everything<\/p>\n
this food-vacuum where eating sucks life from me<\/p>\n
and all the years of bingeing, and rearranging my same self into different bodies-<\/p>\n
i will never stop writing about food<\/p>\n
not once<\/p>\n
