Redemption"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The faithful sentinels of Lord Vishnu(1) Jaya and Vijaya\/<br \/>\nOnce when guarding his chamber denied entry to four wise rishis(2).\/<br \/>\nEnraged the wise men damned them to human incarnation\/<\/p>\n<p>Moved by the repentance of the delinquents\/<br \/>\nRishis offered redemption after seven births as Lord&#8217;s servants\/<br \/>\nOr after three as monstrous enemies of the Lord.<br \/>\nDevoted as they were to their master they chose to be villains and faster return thereby.<\/p>\n<p>As three sets of villains(3) in three eons did they vigorously oppose Vishnu\/<br \/>\nSlayed each time by the very hands of their revered savant\/\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Finally in the dwapara yuga did they return to their abode.<\/p>\n<p>Resplendent after their baptism by fire<br \/>\nRestored to their past glory<br \/>\nThus were the monsters redeemed.<\/p>\n<p>Notes:<\/p>\n<p>1.
