There is poetry happening here
\nthe sound of a mouse caught in a glue trap
\nis melding with the hum of a sticky covered ice cream cooler
\nwhile 8bit music blips over the cries of a squeaking thief<\/p>\n

in the building symphony that i imagine unfolding
\nmy phone rings and i multitask vain goals
\nwhile being told of harsh realities
\nhappening while change is nothing but a word
\nin a vapid conversation<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Busy Bee calls to complain about a shattered leg she refuses to get healed
\ndreams that wont come easily
\nreiterated pains recycled repeatedly
\ni just type and say good night lovingly<\/p>\n

“despite all my rage….<\/strong>
\n\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0i am still just a rat in a cage”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The resonance in my ears rises
\neven while my heart sinks
\ncycles are circles
\nbut there is four sides to every story
\nSo I am trapped
\nlistening to the perceptions of defeat
\nbeing retold like a won war victory<\/p>\n

The sky has not gone black
\nit is tinged aubergine
\na small touch of royal color
\na hidden note from The Risen King<\/p>\n

As the sun moves on to light paths with more promise
\nthe runway lights of an airport
\nsilhouette the skyline
\nJet fuel dumping trails
\nwhile travelers take off towards home<\/p>\n
