Sorrow<br \/>\nso deep my chest aches brings<\/p>\n<p>out memory, the flashes.<br \/>\nNothing to do but breathe.<br \/>\nNowhere to go but through.<br \/>\nMedication can only carry me<\/p>\n<p>to my crystalline end. I will<br \/>\nshatter to slate. I will shatter<br \/>\nagain to pebbles. My veins<br \/>\nrun with ice and glass, my heart<br \/>\nbanging on the door to my ribs<br \/>\nscreaming to be let loose.<br \/>\nBreathe and release.<br \/>\nMy skull is a metaphor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Making them shorter doesn\u2019t make them any easier.
