\n<\/i>Ne\u2019er was it upon her head<\/i>
\n<\/i>Nor on the bench or table<\/i>
\n<\/i>Ne\u2019er did she let it go<\/i>
\n<\/i>Nor did she seem able<\/i>
\n<\/i>To understand the offer given<\/i>
\n<\/i>By an innocent hatbox maker<\/i>
\n<\/i>For her,<\/i>
\n<\/i>The woman with the top hat<\/i>
\n<\/i>To put it inside a box<\/i>
\n<\/i>And protect it from the elements<\/i>
