But you see me–and sometimes, through me–better than almost anyone else;<\/p>\n
Through our electronic conversations \u00a0you’ve seen me at my worst and at my best and when I couldn’t make up my mind to be either;<\/p>\n
And I have heard your struggles and your story;<\/p>\n
At times I’ve been glad you couldn’t see me cry as you told me what you survived;<\/p>\n
If I had one wish in compound parts it would be;<\/p>\n
To hold you;<\/p>\n
And make our pain stop.<\/p>\n
