A week of warnings as this Sunday morning<\/p>\n
Brings a red dawn to take heed<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A brief respite from the calamity<\/p>\n
Of our world that divides and frightens<\/p>\n
I am not ready for another Monday<\/p>\n
Bringing doom and fears for many<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Feeling safe as I age in a northern<\/p>\n
Paradise of green and liberals<\/p>\n
Far from the too much and too little<\/p>\n
I watch remotely as others suffer<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They say to vote and send money<\/p>\n
But there is little change for most<\/p>\n
Take to the streets and warn the<\/p>\n
Masses who turn and shop for comfort<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The sky now fades with relief<\/p>\n
I will slow my breathing and<\/p>\n
Sink back down for one last moment<\/p>\n
