Nobody<\/p>\n

Off the map,
\noff the charts,
\nin a red roadster
\non a road to nowhere.
\nNothing, and
\nnobody (who are you?)*
\nwould drive that red roadster
\nto the middle of nowhere
\nwithout bad intent:
\na spent lover
\nto leave
\non the side of the road,
\nor a body to hide
\nin the bog.
\nShe’s somebody
\nin that red roadster,
\npretending to be
\nnobody,
\nso the next time
\nshe rides through
\nshe’ll put the top down,
\nlet the wind
\nplay with her curls,
\nbut on this trip,
\nthis time,
\nshe’s nobody.<\/p>\n
