Day has dawned.<\/p>\n
There is comfort in this, somehow.<\/p>\n
The cat is looking for breakfast.<\/p>\n
He is early and gently enthusiastic.<\/p>\n
The diurnal world will now come to life.<\/p>\n
I will slowly take my place in it,<\/p>\n
Slowly,<\/p>\n
In as many hours as I can avoid it,<\/p>\n
Because it is still the hour for yogis.<\/p>\n
And though I aspire endlessly to be one,<\/p>\n
I will not appear to be one this morning.<\/p>\n
I would be happy to be a poet-saint instead,<\/p>\n
