I find myself in a ballroom,
\nbaroque ornaments decorate the ceiling.
\nTwirl like royalty and spin until the room
\nturns into a maze
\nturns into a forest
\nturns into an open field.<\/p>\n
Here the ocean spreads,
\nas mountainous waves sprout from a single seedling,
\nso do I, in passing swells, near the desert.<\/p>\n
I am the trees that grow into each other,
\nwe embrace ourselves.<\/p>\n
And as the music crescendos,
\nso do our tender heartbeats.
\nThey do not stop beating
\ndespite the countering actions,
\nthe voices that tell us to stop trying.<\/p>\n
See the leaves whirl, autumn-red,
\nkindle a fire, it reaches to the heavens.
\nNow it is time to rest,
