Life has never been smooth sailing for me
\nI have had my fair share of storms and troubles.
\nSomehow I manage to get by
\nwith sheer determination as my armour.
\nJust because you are differently abled
\nlife doesn’t discount you on the troubles
\nset aside for you to brave.
\nInstead, it just piles on.
\nWhat do you do?
\nYou fight, twice as hard.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The way you deal with what comes your way,
\nthe attitude with which you conform yourself
\ndecides your stance, in the battle and its outcome.
\nWith grace and acceptance you learn to move on
\nfrom the things you no longer can control.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Determination and being honest with yourself
\nwill lead you through many a storm.
\nWhen you feel like you have lost your way
\nlook within yourself to find the light that shines within.
\nTrust hope to lead you out of darkness.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
So, just because you are disabled
\ndoesn’t mean you are special
\nor more deserving than the rest.
\nJust because you are differently abled
\ndon’t expect the world to cut you some slack
\nfight with all your might, fight hard, like you mean it.
\nGo to battle for yourself and return home triumphant.
\nThere is no other way, believe me.<\/p>\n

Make yourself proud and don’t rely on others.
\nThey will never truly get where you are coming from.
\nIts okay, neither will you for them.
\nYou see… life is strange like that way.
