That title is now the title of the poem. That poem can be about the book directly, or indirectly, or it can use the title as a jumping off point and be about something else entirely.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><u>Not the Man Called Ove<\/u><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He was nothing like Ove, my dad.<\/p>\n<p>He was never grumpy.<\/p>\n<p>Handsome, uniformed, sometimes frumpy.<\/p>\n<p>Ove would not get his Scotland and England mixed up.<\/p>\n<p>Or prefer his tea in a handled, saucered cup.<\/p>\n<p>Dad did. He often did.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His first visit here then.<\/p>\n<p>Expecting men in white<\/p>\n<p>at an oval green.<\/p>\n<p>Heck, he expected to see the queen<\/p>\n<p>stroll around with Bertie and Jeeves.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, he marvelled at coos, gorse and fallen leaves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He spoke to the local village shop lady<\/p>\n<p>in his best fake Oxfordshire English.<\/p>\n<p>He did the same when he went to get chips \u2018n fish.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Dad, this is Glasgow, we don\u2019t do posh here.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>(I almost said dinnae there,<\/p>\n<p>you can\u2019t live here and not speak some local).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Back in his own land, he introduced me as his<\/p>\n<p>\u2018Daughter from England.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Twinkling at my fury, he would<\/p>\n<p>tease, with old familiar ease.<\/p>\n<p>And make up a song about a posh Macintosh.<\/p>\n<p>Ove would not do that. Oh gosh, no.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Ove had more gravitas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But they twinkled the same.<\/p>\n<p>These two darling men.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hour Twenty-three \u2013 Pick the title of a book that you love.
