It wavered my faith<\/p>\n
in what I thought was righteous,<\/p>\n
but it still felt off.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Your voice softly saying<\/p>\n
“Death has a deeper meaning,<\/p>\n
let me show you.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Young and blind,<\/p>\n
I followed everyone else’s words<\/p>\n
and ignored yours.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Death is nothing what Christianity<\/p>\n
taught you.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Be reborn, rid yourself<\/p>\n
of doubt,<\/p>\n
of fear.<\/p>\n
Let Death show you the courage you’re missing.”<\/p>\n
“Let me, God of peaceful Deaths<\/p>\n
guide you to your true self.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Yet, I still evaded your calls.<\/p>\n
You continued with signs with:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Moths appeared as<\/p>\n
tiny Phoenixes when<\/p>\n
I was surrounded by negativity.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Poppy flowers bloomed<\/p>\n
in the midst of random bushes.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
All telling me<\/p>\n
that I was never alone.<\/p>\n
You, Thanatos, is always by my side.<\/p>\n
