{"id":12459,"date":"2015-06-14T00:59:43","date_gmt":"2015-06-14T04:59:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=12459"},"modified":"2015-06-14T00:59:43","modified_gmt":"2015-06-14T04:59:43","slug":"sixteenth-poem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2015\/06\/sixteenth-poem\/","title":{"rendered":"Sixteenth poem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love delicious tea<br \/>\nwith tags of hope<br \/>\nand fun for me<br \/>\nthat help to cope<br \/>\non days I&#8217;m not free<br \/>\nto just say nope.<\/p>\n<p>It was a nope<br \/>\nwhen without tea<br \/>\nI couldn&#8217;t cope<br \/>\nand inside me<br \/>\nwas shrinking hope<br \/>\nfor I could be free.<\/p>\n<p>I yearn to be free<br \/>\nand void their nope,<br \/>\nbold on tea,<br \/>\nthat helps me cope<br \/>\nfor who would expect me<br \/>\nto give up on hope.<\/p>\n<p>But is that hope<br \/>\nwhat makes me free<br \/>\nwhat if it&#8217;s nope<br \/>\ndoes my tea<br \/>\nwhich helps me cope<br \/>\nlie to me<\/p>\n<p>But inside me<br \/>\nI know my hope<br \/>\nisn&#8217;t in my tea<br \/>\nbut in my heart. Nope,<br \/>\nthe tea is free<br \/>\nfrom duty to help me cope.<\/p>\n<p>For I&#8217;ll always cope<br \/>\nand you&#8217;ll see me<br \/>\nmanifest hope<br \/>\ncompletely free<br \/>\nof anything, so nope,<br \/>\nI cannot blame the tea.<\/p>\n<p>So with tea I may cope<br \/>\nbut my hope is just me<br \/>\nI choose free over nope<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love delicious tea with tags of hope and fun for me that help to cope on days I&#8217;m not free to just say nope.
