So many seek it here
\nin America…
\nin these separate states
\nwith their separate
\nconfusion.<\/p>\n
That’s a good thing.<\/p>\n
Privileged? No. Not at all.
\nWhat is the privilege of
\nsimply being?
\nOf simply living
\nas humans?<\/p>\n
Simply not a dream.<\/p>\n
Pity the bored leadership
\nwhose job it is to create
\nsomething to fight for…
\nto fight over…
\nto fight about<\/p>\n
so that we can be human.<\/p>\n
As with all humans,
\nthey, too, seek safety…
\nseek support…
\nand an income…
\nto feed their loves.<\/p>\n
They deserve compassion.<\/p>\n
Deep within, at the root
\nof their conscious being,
\nthey fear the dream
\nof others being more
\nthan a little tiny thing…<\/p>\n
A miniscule infant of death.<\/p>\n
Not knowing, these divinely
\ncorrupt beings all over
\neverywhere deny progress
\nfor the beings that dream
\nof just being human.<\/p>\n
The American Dream is.<\/p>\n
America is a contract!
\nNot a person, nor a party,
\nnor a dreamy philosophy.
\nAmerica is an obligation
\nto humanity…<\/p>\n
though just paper.<\/p>\n
Leaders, fear not, for…
\nwhatever the reason…
\nfear the word “not”.
\nFear it like a whole
\nghost pepper, because<\/p>\n
oppression is not.<\/p>\n
Not nice, not appropriate,
\nnot worthwhile, not effective,
\nnot sustainable, not accurate,
\nnot peaceful, and most of all…
\nby the power of our earth<\/p>\n
not being human.<\/p>\n
America, whether living the “dream”
\nor not, is unmistakably human.
\nAnd, so, as much as it is
\njust paper, it is also
\nlife everlasting,<\/p>\n
