So excited to be joining this illustrious group for the first time. I gather I&#8217;m supposed to introduce myself here.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t write poetry often, but I&#8217;m looking forward to this challenge. Typically, I seem drawn to create poetry during times of distress. It&#8217;s always a therapeutic and revealing process for me, uncovering secrets I didn&#8217;t know I harboured. Can&#8217;t wait to see what tomorrow uncovers for me as I excavate my wounds &#8211; both old and new (and hopefully explore some happier themes along the way).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m the founder of Women On Purpose; founder of Watson Labour Lawyers (now Watson Palmer Labour Law) &#8211; a social justice firm; President of Muskoka Authors Association; mother of three (the eldest of whom is writing with me in this marathon!
