{"id":126450,"date":"2023-09-02T14:34:45","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T18:34:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=126450"},"modified":"2023-09-02T15:03:33","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T19:03:33","slug":"hour-6-51","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/hour-6-51\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour 6: The Earth is Flat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Version 1:<\/p>\n<p>The earth is actually flat<\/p>\n<p>And over the edge you see people that are happy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Version 2:<\/p>\n<p>The earth is actually flat.<\/p>\n<p>Hear me out, I can prove it.<\/p>\n<p>All evidence suggests that<\/p>\n<p>Life is but a figment of our imagination<\/p>\n<p>Where each of us creates our own reality &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Meaning the earth is flat.<\/p>\n<p>Also the sky is green but never purple<\/p>\n<p>And water is a solid through which everything can pass.<\/p>\n<p>Fish are actually flying creatures and birds<\/p>\n<p>Walk on air with their feathery legs<\/p>\n<p>Growing out of their shoulders instead of their bums.<\/p>\n<p>Trees can talk but humans are unable to think on their own,<\/p>\n<p>Their ideas download from invisible spores sent from galaxies<\/p>\n<p>Far, far away where existence is only an option.<\/p>\n<p>All of our intrusive thoughts are real<\/p>\n<p>And our dreams are written by little creatures living in our hair<\/p>\n<p>Making us miserable to the point that we must<\/p>\n<p>Create an illusion of reality that certainly is not real.<\/p>\n<p>How else can someone even fathom to imagine<\/p>\n<p>That earth is in the shape of a ball?<\/p>\n<p>Insanity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Version 1: The earth is actually flat And over the edge you see people that are happy. &nbsp; Version 2: The earth is actually flat.
