As my \r\nfamily celebrated around me, \r\nI realized that in ten years \r\nI will be eighty-seven, \r\nalmost ninety. \r\nMy two youngest granddaughters \r\nwill be fourteen, almost \r\nseventeen. \r\n\r\nWhen I was seventeen, I don't remember\r\nthinking \"what will I be doing\r\nwhen I turn twenty-seven?\" My\r\nlife was ahead of me. Love, sex, six children,\r\ngoats, chickens, gardens, deaths,\r\narthritis, glaucoma, high blood pressure ... \r\nall in yet to come.\r\n\r\nIn ten years I'll be eighty-seven, \r\nalmost ninety.
