yet, in some ways more.<\/p>\n

How the years have flown, ten years more like ten days <\/em><\/p>\n dissipating like the morning mist.<\/em><\/p>\n As if Father Time is manually spinning <\/em><\/p>\n the hands of the clock, faster and faster.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n What dreams I held tight within my grasp then!<\/em><\/p>\n Bold, daring pursuits.<\/em><\/p>\n Yet I feared releasing them, losing control,<\/em><\/p>\n letting them fly<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n But you dreamed new dreams,<\/p>\n better dreams<\/p>\n Ones that suit you –<\/p>\n the you, you are today.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n At 62, my face still held the glow of youth<\/em><\/p>\n love blushed my cheeks<\/em><\/p>\n stirred my heart to create stories<\/em><\/p>\n like lifeblood pulsing through me.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n Today, skin like tissue paper <\/em><\/p>\n covers my blue-veined hands, <\/em><\/p>\n Mother Nature painting me <\/em><\/p>\n in the image of my departed mother.<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n I see your accomplishments.<\/p>\n I see the challenges you faced without wavering<\/p>\n Come, see you from here.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Who is that woman I see?<\/em><\/p>\n Is that really me?<\/em><\/p>\n Surrounded by friends who love her – <\/em><\/p>\n what greater achievement than this?<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n I chose love over tangible rewards<\/em><\/p>\n my goals transmuted into acts of love,<\/em><\/p>\n and now with my fortress of friendship<\/em><\/p>\n I can pursue my dreams once more.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Look at you!
