Did I do something wrong?
\nThey are staring with two dark holes
\nDon’t tell me to be strong!
\nbehind those osteocytes lie many souls<\/p>\n
There are many bones in our museum
\nPatella, femur and tibia
\nThey’re from abandoned bodies I assume
\nPrisoners from Chad, Nigeria and Libya<\/p>\n
Every bone I try to study
\nWhispers a story to my hearing
\nIt’s scary out there!
\nThe ribcage was murdered by his own buddy
\nThe fontanelle was killed by her own mummy<\/p>\n
Some how they got here
\nJust to be manhandled
\nA sad afterlife
\nAfter a sad life<\/p>\n
But the students don’t care
\nIt’s the bone’s cross to handle<\/p>\n
Except me!
\nI know their story
\nIt’s stuck in my head like a tattoo
\nAnd they seem to know me too
\nMust be why they visit me every night in my dreams.<\/p>\n
I do get scared!
\nBut they promised I won’t fail this semester’s Bone test
\nThey’ll help me revise from coccyx to head
\nFor now, I’ll Forget fear
