{"id":128839,"date":"2023-09-02T11:44:45","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T15:44:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=128839"},"modified":"2023-09-02T11:44:45","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T15:44:45","slug":"our-flowing-breath-poem-3-prompt-3-from-ingrid-exner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/our-flowing-breath-poem-3-prompt-3-from-ingrid-exner\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Flowing Breath- Poem #3 Prompt #3  from Ingrid Exner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our breath flows like a wave-<\/p>\n<p>a tsunami in some-<\/p>\n<p>who breath just a bit too deeply!<\/p>\n<p>Inhaling air through every orifice-even the hair!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I practise breathwork on a rock in Georgian Bay.<\/p>\n<p>I breathe in deeply-very deeply!<\/p>\n<p>And, I do an extended release-releasing all the air, breath and everything I no longer need.<\/p>\n<p>Woosh!!!<\/p>\n<p>Breathing can be good&#8230;deep breathing can be good but it can also be bad.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Inhale, exhale and release.&#8221; It seems simple enough.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s another deep exhale of surrender.<\/p>\n<p>Then, there are the shallow breathers-surface breathers.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes, I hold my breathe&#8230;when I am afraid or even sad.<\/p>\n<p>I then remind myself, &#8220;Ing, it is time to let it all go-including the breath!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Better breathwork will make me stronger-in many ways!<\/p>\n<p>Beautiful, big breath-<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s in us to give!<\/p>\n<p>Alles gut!<\/p>\n<p>All things breathe and flow and like rivers even giggle and gurgle with glee!<\/p>\n<p>Time to return to the sparkling water of Georgian Bay and my meditation rock.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our breath flows like a wave- a tsunami in some- who breath just a bit too deeply!
