The sun has risen again, unremarked behind the clouds.\u00a0 Typical for this country, and as long as it remains dry, fine with me.\u00a0 Soon I’ll face a plate of pancakes, perhaps rice with two fried eggs and a sausage.<\/p>\n
I’ll review what I wrote in the night and decide which heads will roll.\u00a0 Without a doubt, not mine, although it feels like coconut slush.\u00a0 There’s something to look forward to, besides food \u2013 sleep, and, after that, perhaps a short trip to town.<\/p>\n
For now, a photograph of the lavender rhododendron in the backyard.\u00a0 It’s growing in a corner reached only by the afternoon sun.\u00a0 There might not be much sun today, but that’s all right.\u00a0 Afterwards, I’ll eat my rice and eggs and bask in the night’s work.<\/p>\n
It feels as though I’ve painted the town in my head a bright red.<\/p>\n
