of what this body chooses to remember<\/span><\/p>\n

the definition of limerence<\/span><\/p>\n

twitches in my left hemisphere<\/span><\/p>\n

only to become sedimentary<\/span><\/p>\n

a fossil I cannot interpret<\/span><\/p>\n

digging itself underground<\/span><\/p>\n

and I, amateur archaeologist I am,<\/span><\/p>\n

fumble the excavation<\/span><\/p>\n

break the relic in two.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I open my mouth and I, too, solidify,<\/span><\/p>\n

I weep and my tongue becomes a mountain<\/span><\/p>\n

I speak and it erupts<\/span><\/p>\n

only in words<\/span><\/p>\n
