And now it’s lost all its flavor<\/p>\n

Dog kisses feel dry<\/p>\n
The flowers don’t have the courage to bloom<\/p>\n
Pictures lack color and feel empty<\/p>\n
Time is frozen still, chilling me to the bone<\/p>\n

Life used to feel like a movie<\/p>\n
But now it feels like someone forgot to turn the camera off<\/p>\n
Everyone’s gone home<\/p>\n
The lights have been turned off<\/p>\n
And I’m just waiting<\/p>\n
Hoping<\/p>\n
For something else to happen<\/p>\n
For you to reappear<\/p>\n
To put a smile back on my face<\/p>\n
But your part of the story is over<\/p>\n
I know you’re still in every scene<\/p>\n
Perhaps even more so now<\/p>\n
But your watching from behind the screen<\/p>\n
Just a fly on the wall<\/p>\n
When you were always meant for the stage<\/p>\n

You were the light in every tunnel<\/p>\n
But now you’ve reached your end<\/p>\n
And life is just a dark cave<\/p>\n
My eyes will never adjust to<\/p>\n

I don’t want to<\/p>\n
