There is a feeling he longs to feel again
\nAnd so he bleeds every new experience
\nfor every drop of emotion it can arouse in him
\nTakes the glass to the table, time and time again.
\nHolds friends like hostages until they
\nbegin to bore his starving appetite.<\/p>\n
And the lovers who dared to share his bed,
\nhe took from them more than they were willing to give
\nAll for the sake of the hole he fights inside.
\nThat damned emptiness where once
\nsimple pleasantries lived.<\/p>\n
And the vices drew close to him like
\ncancerous tumors thrive on disease,
\nThe lusts, and the powders,
\nevery god and every savior
\ndrowning in the void that never ends.<\/p>\n
What crime has he committed?
\nAgainst others, for sure.
\nAgainst himself, his witness,
\nconfessing truths never revealed.<\/p>\n
Longing for impossible imaginings,
\nForever heartsick, romancing an eternal grief.
\nWhat a sad promenade, descending spiral,
\nA short-lived trail of light
