I don\u2019t love myself, but I wish I did.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Always tender to the wrong touch,<\/span><\/p>\n

overcome by the nausea my white savior complex induces.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Opinionated to a fault\u2013my own detriment,<\/span><\/p>\n

my perfectionist best will never be good enough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Poor with a capital \u2018PO\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

the world I can give revolves around homemade cards and love letters.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I can make a decision when there’s a gun pointed at my face,<\/span><\/p>\n

but never about food.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Habitually bitching that life isn\u2019t fair,<\/span><\/p>\n

while I ache for the reassurance it can be.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Absent to my world\u2013 too early, too late,<\/span><\/p>\n

but never just in time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Perception burning sunlight through me,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

but I can\u2019t digest your thoughts.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Show me love and my fight or flight kicks in,<\/span><\/p>\n
