{"id":131480,"date":"2023-09-02T14:43:07","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T18:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=131480"},"modified":"2023-09-02T14:43:07","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T18:43:07","slug":"poem-for-hour-six-6-24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/poem-for-hour-six-6-24\/","title":{"rendered":"Poem for Hour Six (6\/24)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>N<\/strong>ormally people are blind to avian presence,<\/p>\n<p><strong>O<\/strong>rdinarily chalked up to &#8220;Well, see, there&#8217;s no interesting birds around me,&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong>eally?<\/p>\n<p><strong>T<\/strong>hen I guess you didn&#8217;t see the whistling duck whose breath was stuck, captured,<\/p>\n<p><strong>H<\/strong>ung in midair, by photographers who spent hours lying there, just to get the shot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>tlantic puffins, silhouetted against sunbathed rocks, to say naught about,<\/p>\n<p><strong>M<\/strong>eadowlarks, stark and yellow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E<\/strong>veryone takes crows for granted, common, yes, but grand, these things should be taught about,<\/p>\n<p><strong>R<\/strong>ecent research tells us these survivors can solve for specific solutions with superior<\/p>\n<p><strong>I<\/strong>ntellect.<\/p>\n<p><strong>C<\/strong>anada geese forming perfect V&#8217;s,<\/p>\n<p><strong>A<\/strong>ll throughout those short winter months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Normally people are blind to avian presence, Ordinarily chalked up to &#8220;Well, see, there&#8217;s no interesting birds around me,&#8221; Really?
