{"id":131655,"date":"2023-09-02T14:18:36","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T18:18:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=131655"},"modified":"2023-09-02T14:18:36","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T18:18:36","slug":"hour-6-world-view","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/hour-6-world-view\/","title":{"rendered":"Hour 6- World View"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>I take a big step to find the edge of the world. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I look down.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I look to my left.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I see a magnificent waterfall<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It is cascading down to bathe the stars,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Splashing droplets into galaxies <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Creating rainbows in the moonlight.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I look to my right.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I see a mountain range on the edge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A boulder tumbling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Down<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>To alight onto the trunk of an elephant below<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>That is riding on the back of a slow moving turtle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skipping, I make my way around the edge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Taking my time, enjoying the view.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Along the way I meet new friends<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Learn new things<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Try new foods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Take in everything.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Even if the earth is flat, <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I plan on being well-rounded.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I take a big step to find the edge of the world.
