fly across the ceiling,<\/p>\n
wave from outside the window.<\/p>\n
The words are being obstinate.<\/p>\n
Scary.<\/p>\n
A bit too quippy.<\/p>\n
I try to grab them<\/p>\n
as they taunt me, laughing.<\/p>\n
Damn how they allude me,<\/p>\n
scorn me,<\/p>\n
accentuate me,<\/p>\n
elongate me.<\/p>\n
Endlessly pulling away.<\/p>\n
I have to trap them,<\/p>\n
entice them,<\/p>\n
lure them with sweet whispers.<\/p>\n
Sometimes one will land.<\/p>\n
I cannot move, I let it stay,<\/p>\n
until others join it.<\/p>\n
But if I move the wrong way<\/p>\n
they fly off,<\/p>\n
or tumble around the floor.<\/p>\n
And I am wordless once again.<\/p>\n
