{"id":132759,"date":"2023-09-02T15:33:15","date_gmt":"2023-09-02T19:33:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=132759"},"modified":"2023-09-02T15:33:15","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T19:33:15","slug":"changes-leads-to-goodbye","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2023\/09\/changes-leads-to-goodbye\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Changes leads to goodbye&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Changes leads to goodbye,<\/p>\n<p>For the first time in September,<\/p>\n<p>I worried on where I\u2019m going,<\/p>\n<p>On what I\u2019m after,<\/p>\n<p>On where I was before,<\/p>\n<p>I worried on everything that happened.<\/p>\n<p>And happens simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s like a tapestry of events,<\/p>\n<p>Happening once more.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They say, it all leads me to open doors.<\/p>\n<p>Changes leads to goodbye,<\/p>\n<p>I have accepted the fact before I turned thirty,<\/p>\n<p>That I would be chasing time,<\/p>\n<p>Again, and again and again,<\/p>\n<p>Slowly, or maybe running fast as I can,<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ll maybe out of breath<\/p>\n<p>Or losing it before I reach the end.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Life is a hard game to play,<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, it will lead to our fated place,<\/p>\n<p>Changes leads to goodbye,<\/p>\n<p>Even it hurts sometimes,<\/p>\n<p>Breaks us repeatedly,<\/p>\n<p>But it will take us through,<\/p>\n<p>It will take me to you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Text Prompt:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every year I made sure to include at least one formal poem. The viator is a poetic form invented by Robin Skelton.
