For freedom, for bounds higher<\/p>\n
Revive in me seasons of rising<\/p>\n
Console my uprisings<\/p>\n
Hardly, for ages did I find solace<\/p>\n
And Oh! Fate and its vengeful grace<\/p>\n
Awaken in me fire, to burn through my soul<\/p>\n
Make me whole<\/p>\n
I have never known much of my;<\/p>\n
My existence, they said was a lie<\/p>\n
Awaken in me love, the language divine<\/p>\n
And give me what\u2019s mine<\/p>\n
Mine is my love, my art, my word and thought<\/p>\n
And the battles of fate fought<\/p>\n
Now awaken in me peace<\/p>\n
And they laughed such and would tease<\/p>\n
When I asked for peace, they would<\/p>\n
Remind me of my ignorance should<\/p>\n
Should I know that life has none<\/p>\n
