the world keeps ending, and the world goes on\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the same could be said for the days<\/span><\/p>\n

the months, the years, the decades<\/span><\/p>\n

all neverending ending things\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

it used to be hard to get out of bed on weekday mornings\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the world keeps ending, and the world goes on\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

now i struggle to get out of bed on weekends too<\/span><\/p>\n

even ones where i have my mom\u2019s borrowed car<\/span><\/p>\n

where autonomy of that sort is more within my reach\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the city seems too big to even see<\/span><\/p>\n

perception sometimes too much a cost to pay\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

seasons too\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

cyclical endings<\/span><\/p>\n

the world keeps ending, and the world goes on\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

on & on & on & on\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

tipping back and forth\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

between axis and moonlight, sunlight and smaller stars<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

were worlds ever meant to last<\/span><\/p>\n

certainly not this one, not at this rate<\/span><\/p>\n

not in this way<\/span><\/p>\n
