Here I go driving past the crooked creek<\/p>\n
We’d throw stones in its pockets and try to pick them up again,<\/p>\n
only a wish away from desperation<\/p>\n
It’s today that I’m reminded of you<\/p>\n
Don’t know where I’m going<\/p>\n
and even though it’s not been long<\/p>\n
I seem to have gone far<\/p>\n
The hills play hide and seek with me,<\/p>\n
falling and appearing again,<\/p>\n
teasing my rusted, vintage car<\/p>\n
I guess I should turn back soon<\/p>\n
I said those words before,<\/p>\n
when you were in the passenger seat,<\/p>\n
lost and speechless<\/p>\n
but I knew the muted words you spoke<\/p>\n
The days are weathered now,<\/p>\n
jaded and tattered<\/p>\n
so I drive<\/p>\n
I’m going to the nowhere<\/p>\n
