Poem for Us (written while listening to Max Richter, On the Nature of Daylight)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>10am hour 8 poem 8<\/p>\n<p>Poem for Us (written while listening to Max Richter, On the Nature of Daylight)<\/p>\n<p>You come to me slightly.<br \/>\nYou are so broken<br \/>\nand she is so broken<br \/>\nand they are so broken.<br \/>\nWe are all so broken.<\/p>\n<p>Ancient china broken<\/p>\n<p>You tippy toe in<br \/>\nnot to shatter yourself<br \/>\nnot to drop yourself to the floor<br \/>\nnot to kick up any<br \/>\nblinding memory dust<br \/>\nnot to knock anyone off<br \/>\nour shadow ledges.<\/p>\n<p>You skippity hop talk softly<br \/>\ncautiously<br \/>\nneedingly.<br \/>\nYou are so broken.<br \/>\nWe are all so broken.<\/p>\n<p>Forgotten promises broken broken<\/p>\n<p>You come to me<br \/>\nstemmed and leaking<br \/>\nand she is there.<br \/>\nWe bandage with cool cloth talk<br \/>\ngluey safeties<br \/>\nsoft, warm blanket gauzes<br \/>\nthat soothe us<br \/>\nthat soothe even them.<\/p>\n<p>You are so broken<br \/>\nand she is so broken<br \/>\nand they are so broken.<br \/>\nWe are all so broken<\/p>\n<p>Pangaea broken<\/p>\n<p>Pieces of our whole torn apart<br \/>\nbut still fitting broken<\/p>\n<p>separated only by space and time broken.<br \/>\n<!--\/data\/user\/0\/com.samsung.android.app.notes\/files\/clipdata\/clipdata_bodytext_230902_102646_097.sdocx--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>10am hour 8 poem 8 Poem for Us (written while listening to Max Richter, On the Nature of Daylight) You come to me slightly.
