A song like a lullaby<\/p>\n
To help say goodbye<\/p>\n
To the cruel day<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A break of rhythm<\/p>\n
That you were given<\/p>\n
To alter the sound<\/p>\n
As your tears hit the ground<\/p>\n
So it wasn\u2019t the same old same old<\/p>\n
And this became a story that had not yet been told<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A melody<\/p>\n
Not quite ready<\/p>\n
To have the lyrics inflicted<\/p>\n
In a way that\u2019s unrestricted<\/p>\n
Because this is a story not yet told<\/p>\n
And you can\u2019t come at it cold<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And there\u2019s no ending yet<\/p>\n
Just a simple refrain<\/p>\n
Because you\u2019ll want to hear it again<\/p>\n
When you notice the sound of rain<\/p>\n
Is hidden in the frame<\/p>\n
Of the story not yet told<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Eventually<\/p>\n
A harmony<\/p>\n
As things come together<\/p>\n
Just when you could have been at the end of your tether<\/p>\n
And you realise this story untold<\/p>\n
Won\u2019t have to be finished alone.<\/p>\n
