We emerge in silence<\/p>\n
Continuing to grow as we trail on foot<\/p>\n
over dug graves by others<\/p>\n
who say they loved us<\/p>\n
this new version of life after death<\/p>\n
has me pray over the bones of my ancestors<\/p>\n
who guide me in darkness<\/p>\n
to light.<\/p>\n
In the middle of nowhere<\/p>\n
I find settled ancestors<\/p>\n
clinging to scraped images<\/p>\n
