eating plates of toxic food<\/p>\n
disguised to look<\/p>\n
like love offerings.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
All are deadly,<\/p>\n
All will do you in.<\/p>\n
No way to fly above.<\/p>\n
No way to go without.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the news<\/p>\n
shrills about protection\u2014<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
facial coverings,<\/p>\n
needles of deterrence.<\/p>\n
Perhaps they\u2019re right:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the air is lethal,<\/p>\n
yet too little breath<\/p>\n
will topple you<\/p>\n
tike a tree.<\/p>\n
.<\/p>\n
Inhale, exhale.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Stay alive for<\/p>\n
as long as possible,<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
draw in your own<\/p>\n
sweet wind, and<\/p>\n
share it with the sky.<\/p>\n
