“3’rd Wednesday Of The Month…”<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Is it?\u00a0 It IS!\u00a0 cool,<\/p>\n took long enough this month –<\/p>\n 21 flipping days …sigh.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Gather lists …checked weekly flyers today<\/p>\n electronically clipped any coupons of possible use<\/p>\n (though ya KNOW ya can’t – but is what<\/p>\n “possibles” bags are for)…yesterday.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Need gas – damn, higher this week – but ya can’t walk,<\/p>\n too old – too far – and CARRY?? sheesh.<\/p>\n Cut something out… yeah, something.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Milk, eggs, bread – storebrand; ya save<\/p>\n over what you used to get –<\/p>\n but that was last month<\/p>\n …nickel and dime ya to death.<\/p>\n “Just one direction anymore …up.”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Veggies – lettuce salad – still got Ranch…<\/p>\n 2 – Oh…1 tomato – Roma, will have to do.<\/p>\n Potatoes …a pack of 4 – maybe add a small bag of rice<\/p>\n – that can work.<\/p>\n 2 lemons CAN’T cost that much…<\/p>\n sigh, yeah they do… one then – C’Mon, make do.<\/p>\n Green beans look good this time – nah,<\/p>\n storebrand cans yeppers…<\/p>\n leaves enough for some beets<\/p>\n – something different…<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Deli – no real deals,<\/p>\n but I can look and remember<\/p>\n – is still allowed.<\/p>\n pre-packaged has a sale…<\/p>\n I can splurge if I trade… “Go for it!”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dairy – quart vs half-gallon, mix it with dry<\/p>\n an ya can barely taste the dif<\/p>\n – well, if its cold or in something.<\/p>\n Butter is on sale! No, no – gotta trade,<\/p>\n one pound margarine – it spreads thinner, will do.<\/p>\n Coupon for the store cheese!
