Nevertheless, this meadow has been a part<\/p>\n
of me since I was quite young.<\/p>\n
A long stretch of green grass spotted<\/p>\n
with honeysuckles, whose fragrance lingered on<\/p>\n
my clothes long after I left<\/p>\n
Mountains marked the edge of the meadow<\/p>\n
boulders jutted through the grass like knives.<\/p>\n
It scared me, just a little, to see something imposing<\/p>\n
over the peace of the greenery.<\/p>\n
But to this day, almost thirty years later,<\/p>\n
I still see the meadow,<\/p>\n
in my dreams, and<\/p>\n
