thus \u201cWhat <\/span><\/span>are<\/i><\/span><\/span> Love\u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

might ring truer <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

than the title above.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Agape<\/strong>, unconditional, sacrificial,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

with naught in return,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

heroic\u2014Christlike, give til it hurts;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Eros<\/strong>, erotica, love\u2019s physical side,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Cupid and arrows, lust and desire;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Storge<\/strong>, familial, as parent to child,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

kinship with relatives, though distantly mild;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Mania<\/strong>, obsessive, jealous, or mad:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

an unhealthy facet of love that\u2019s all \u2018grab\u2019;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

Ludus<\/strong>, friends with benefits, playful, a game,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

courtship, non-committal–hope your date feels the same!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pragma<\/strong>, with logic, obligation, and duty;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Philia, neighborly, affectionate friendship, not bootie;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Philautia<\/strong>, hubris, self love, self-esteem; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

on the flip side, narcissism can be down-right mean.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

These loves, interlocked, are what makes life sing;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
