Every once in awhile-
\nI have so many thoughts
\nthat run through my head
\nsome slow enough to catch
\nothers-
\nnot so much<\/p>\n
Why is everyone always busy?
\nand why does no one seem to have
\nany down time?
\ncould things be improved if you
\njust slowed down?
\nMaybe<\/p>\n
Would anyone care?
\nProbably not
\nEveryone else walks around
\nlike they got no problems
\nI\u2019m the one in the back of the
\nroom
\nmelting into the shadows<\/p>\n
Hey you, I have a problem
\nand maybe you could help
\nmaybe not-
\ncould I at least just ask you
\nwait\u2014<\/p>\n
Of course not
\nToo busy to even pay me any mind
\nSuch is life<\/p>\n
People never ask
\nand they don\u2019t stick around
\nfor details
\nand if they did ask-
\nit\u2019s going to take a lot longer than
\nanyone wants to spare
\nto listen <\/p>\n
If I break down tonight-
\nI hope you know that at least I tried
\nto not show my mess to you and I
\ntried to shield you from the fall out<\/p>\n

\nNot right now, I, have to
\ngo take care of something
\noh ok, got it.
\nyou\u2019re busy
\nWhy bother to try and confide in you<\/p>\n
I can\u2019t help who and what I am
\nit\u2019s the way I was made
\nyou don\u2019t see me, you choose not to
\nand I guess that\u2019s ok.<\/p>\n
